Summer Florida Trip

Friends rock. Especially mine! Everyone by now should know I have a group of five best friends who live all over the country. We met last summer on our alumni college program and had the wonderful opportunity to live together. Well, we had another reunion (minus Katie, tear...) and it was a blast. Abby, Kathleen and I all arrived by plane around the same time in Orlando and Kelly and Suzanne were there to pick us up. It was a joyous reunion, but cut short because we had reservations at the Tea Room and Disney's Grand Floridian Hotel. Now, for those of you who don't know about this amazing hotel, you are missing out.

It's GORGEOUS inside and out. I plan on spending my wedding night there. Ahem. And here is the tea room...

Seriously. I almost died from the cuteness. Unfortunately, we forgot a camera this day! But we had lots of yummy desserts, sandwiches and tea (I had an herbal fruity drink.. mmm). Then it was off to the Magic Kingdom!! We rode some of our favorites: Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Philhar Magic, TTA, COP, Buzz and Space Mountain. We even had time to watch the Electric Light Parade and the Fireworks show. I got a chocolate Mickey bar :)

The next day we slept in and headed off to Hollywood Studios. It was fun to walk around and see everyone. We did The Great Movie Ride, Rock'n Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania. It was a lot of fun! We got to visit Suzanne at work and see her in all of her trainer glory. Later was Epcot.

In Canada goofing around

The Abster and I simply DYING because Captain Eo is the greatest thing ever

Little lovin in front of Tower of Terror

The next day we actually got up early for our journey to Jacksonville, where our hotel was. Thank you Hilton discount. That day we spent time on the beach MMM delightful.

Suzanne and I at a little restaurant by the beach

The next day we were able to spend time in the cutest town ever-St. Augustine. The town is filled with history and cuteness.

Holding fins in St. Augustine.

We love the randomness here.

MMMM Seafood...

What a perfect vacation...
I got to spend lots of time on the beach, relax, see my girls and visit Disney. What more could you ask for?
