Condo Tour: My Room

Amy and I live in the cutest little condo in the Biltmore area of Phoenix. Before those of you familiar with Phoenix start asking yourselves, "how the heck do these two girls afford a condo in the Biltmore?" please understand that we actually live in a slightly sketchy little pocket of the Biltmore. Even still, we love it. I thought it might be fun to do a little tour of our home sweet home, starting with my room.

This is the first time I've really had the means to actually buy the things I like for my room. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very frugal, but I was able to splurge on a few pieces I really love and I'm glad I did. Without further ado, welcome to Whitney's room.

This is the view when you first walk in. I love my bedspread and my little twinkle lights. As you can tell, I'm a shabby chic fanatic. The colors in my room are mostly gray, white, gold and teal. My duvet is from Pottery Barn, the lamp is from Hobby Lobby and the bed frame is from Ikea. 

My friend gave me this bedside table before she moved a few years ago and I'm in love with it. My laptop is usually on top and my journals sit inside the drawer. There's usually a glass of water and retainer on there too, but I decided to take those out for the picture. You're welcome.

I'm kind of a sucker for gallery walls. The prints are all from Etsy shops I love and the map is one of my grandfather's. He loved maps and I got this one from my Aunt as a memory of him. Of course, no gallery wall would be complete without a canvas of Ellie. My pillows are from Etsy and Marshall's. 

One of my favorite prints sits off to the side. It says, "Create in me a pure heart." I got it at Hobby Lobby and I'm in love.

Here's my little reading corner. The cork board is from Marshall's and the chair is from Overstock. I'm planning on putting some "Love" marquee letters on that blank wall.

My other gallery wall! I got everything from Hobby Lobby & Marshall's. I painted the vases myself. The drawers are from Ikea - but I got special knobs to put on it. I love laying in bed and watching movies.

Last but not least, my bookcase! I outgrew this bookcase about a year ago (book addict), but I still love it. My jewelry all sits on display.
