Sick at Disneyland.

As many of you know, this past weekend I was at Disneyland, where the unthinkable happened: I.got.sick.

Let's go back in time to Saturday morning. I was just waking up in my friend Abby's beach house and making our way toward Disneyland with Kelly and Katie. We were all wearing our matching Mickey shirts and ready for the day ahead. Little did I know what was in store for me.

Actually, I'm being a little over-dramatic (typical), as the first half of Saturday was delightful. We rode almost every ride, ate some delicious food and spent precious time bonding.

Around five p.m. my stomach started hurting pretty bad but since I have an uber sensitive stomach I paid no attention. That is, until I felt like I was going to die. Cue Whitney running across California Adventure to the nearest bathroom, only to find a ridiculously long line. Cue extremely sick child run into bathroom while Whitney is waiting in line and barf all over the floor in front of her. At this point I busted in front of everyone and actually made it the stall where I got VERY sick (I'll spare you the details).

I emerged from the bathroom feeling better so we decided to walk to Disneyland. On our way to the park I realized I was going to be sick again. I sprinted to the bathroom outside of Disneyland where I spent the next two or so hours. I felt SO bad that the girls had to just wait outside for me while I took trips outside to get fresh air and try to keep down the newly purchased Pepto Bismal (thank you for taking care of me ladies). At this point my stomach cramps were so bad and I was so traumatized I just started bawling and probably didn't stop for hours. I know we all hate to get sick but I would seriously rather have ANYTHING rather than be stomach sick.

Abby got off work and met us. She then suggested I go to first aid to lie down. I spent about four hours in first aid on Main Street crying, snuggling in my blanket, running to their restroom and bawling to the nurses. They were really sweet though.

I still don't know what was wrong with me. I think it might have been something I ate but no one else got sick.

Needless to say, I was very upset to get sick at my happy place. I mean, come on!! Here are a few pictures of our day before the madness began.

P.S. NOTHING is worse than flying home sick on an airplane. ugh.

I hope you're feeling better. I completely understand. My first trip to disney world I got a concussion and went to hospital and still can't remember a good chunk of my trip.
