Being Like Belle

I cannot even begin to express my love and obsession with all things Beauty and the Beast. Even being the movie snob that I am, this film tops all as my all-time favorite. Hands down. I wrote my gajillion page Junior research paper on it and LOVED every second. I watch it all the time, when I am sad or lonely or sick, and it always makes me feel better. I remember seeing it for the very first time when I was five years old. I went with my Aunt Deena to the theatres and I was completely mesmerized. My room was decked out in all things Beauty and the Beast when I was younger and my love and admiration for the heroine has never subsided.

I love Belle. I love everything she stands for. In my opinion, she is the very best Disney princess. She is real, loving, adventurous, smart, brave, brazen and funny. I have always wanted to be exactly like her.

Belle was brave enough to seek out her own adventure. Belle found true love in the most unlikely place, and it blossomed out of a friendship. Belle stood up for what she believed in, even though her ideas weren't popular or well received.

I want to be more like Belle.
