Romanticism

How I feel about love (when I’m not feeling overly cynical):

Warning: Major sappy alert

I plan on falling in love once. That is just how I operate. Call me silly, call me imaginative, but I dream of a fairy tale romance. I expect far too much. But that doesn’t stop me from expecting it. Be careful with your heart, it is the most precious commodity you have.

‎"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words… It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun” –Jane Austen (Pride & Prejudice)

“There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart”—Jane Austen

“If I loved you less, I might be able to talk about it more” –Jane Austen

“A life without love is no life at all” –Ever After

“There is no instinct like that of the heart”—Lord Byron

“So this is love. This is the miracle that I’ve been dreaming of. So this is love”—Disney’s Cinderella

“Now a soft kiss -- Aye, by that kiss, I vow an endless bliss”—John Keats

“Without His love I can do nothing, with His love there is nothing I cannot do”—Unknown

“There is only one happiness in life -- to love and to be loved”—George Sand

“Where there is love there is life” –Ghandi

“Friendship often ends in love; but love in friendship, never”—Charles Colton

“Love is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction”—Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“Once you have learned to love, You will have learned to live”—Unknown

Oh dear. Call me a romantic. Call me an idiot. But I am definitely in a sappy mood.
