It's freezing in my office. Seriously... it's so cold. I have no idea why they insist on having the temperature in the low 60's and it's in the 80's outside. Usually I love being cold but this is just nuts. A few weeks ago I decided I was just over it and got a small space heater for my desk. It's tiny and barely works. I swear it made me colder than before because it was heating such a small area so lightly.
Then I brought in a blanket to work. It sits on my lap at all times. I am always tempted to wrap it around my head, but I don't think that's exactly professional. What about a snuggie? Is that okay?
Then I decided the first space heater wasn't cutting it so I ordered a nice, preamo, top of the line space heater from Target.com which delivered yesterday. I was so excited to plug it in this morning. The heat coming from that thing was amazing. I turned it on high and basked in the warmth. I cuddled up in my blanket and realized that this was the most comfortable I was every going to be at work. And I loved it.
About two hours later my computer shut off unexpectedly, as did all of the power at my desk. I heard shouts from about two rows of cubicles, their power had gone off as well. I felt panic flood through me as I remembered the time our power shut off at home when Amy and I were using both of our hair dryers at once. Woops.
So what if my space heater shut off half of the power in the office? I miss it so much. I'm freezing. Everyone was yelling at me for shutting down the Internet as well but I don't think that's my fault. The entire point of this post is that I miss my space heater.
Excuse me while I go cry and shiver.

That is hilarious but honestly I'd never survive that work environment. I hate being cold.
