Yep, my happy place was calling me. We loaded up the van this morning and packed in my two cousins, aunt, mom and sister.
I didn't want to leave you hanging though!
Since I have a TON of new readers I thought I'd do a little "about whitney" quiz so you could learn a little bit more about me. Some are questions I found online and some are actually FAQ's by readers.
1. What is the worst physical pain you've ever felt?
Hmm... When I was 8 I was bitten by a dog on my nose and the results were painful. However, I've probably gotta go with braces. I got them on at 17 and I can't remember any worse pain - especially the bottom ones! I can still feel it.. errrgh :/
2. Why did you start blogging?
I started my blog as an online journal and a personal outlet for my feelings. Here I gained acceptance and grew as an individual. I still strive to put my true and most honest self out there every single day and realize that I continue to grow because I use the power of words.
3. How many houses have you lived in?
Apartment to trailer to apartment to house to bigger house to dorm to dorm to apartment to house to apartment to condo. (wow, we move a lot when we're in college, don't we?)
4. I saw you worked for Disney. What was that about? What did you do?
In the Spring of 2008 I participated in the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort. From January to May I worked at the Seas With Nemo and Friends and Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot. I'm a HUGE Disney nerd and it had been a dream of mine to work there ever since I was 12 years old. In the summer of 2009 I returned to work at Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I can honestly say that my Disney experiences have been some of the best of my life. Five of my closest, most dear friends I met during my second program and I wouldn't trade knowing them for anything in the world.
5. Are you Mormon? What do you believe?
Yes, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. I will always be completely open about my faith and religion on this blog. It is who I am and it defines me in every particular. I can't begin to tell you everything I believe here, so please visit www.mormon.org for more information.
6. You work for Make-A-Wish? That's so awesome! What do you do there?
I work at the National Office for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, based in Phoenix, Arizona. I work on our corporate alliances department and assist in wish facilitation of our corporate accounts as well as serve as a coordinator/assistant/aide to my team. I love what I do and I love working with our corporate sponsors.
7. Who is your favorite Disney princess and why?
BELLE! She has been my favorite since I first saw Beauty and the Beast at five years old. She is everything I aspire to be: beautiful, intelligent, adventurous and loving. Sigh I love her.
Whoa, 7 is a random number but I'm gonna stop there for now. Love you all!
