You know what I like?
Taking picture of myself on my Macbook.
Sometimes I do peace signs.
Sometimes my glasses give off a glare.
But it still makes me happy.
You know what else?
I have been thinking a lot about what Kathleen Kelly says in a certain part of "You've Got Mail."
Here's what she has to say:
"Sometimes I wonder about my life. I lead a small life - well, valuable, but small - and sometimes I wonder, do I do it because I like it, or because I haven't been brave? So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book, when shouldn't it be the other way around? I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void."
Do you ever feel like that too?
I used to feel like that all the stinkin' time!
Mostly it was because I hated my job, felt lost and confused.
Now I find purpose.
Every single day I get up feeling renewed. Not every day is perfect (today certainly wasn't!), but I know that I am making a difference.
Also, I may be a grandma, but being a grandma makes me happy. I don't care what people say. I like to craft, cook, bake, decorate, sing and sew. I am a homebody. I am weird. I make mistakes. Sometimes I don't feel as talented or awesome and people around me (I always feel that way in bloggie land you talented peeps!)I am not married. I am not even dating anyone... but I am still important, I am still loved! And so are you. :)
Also, special shout out to Erin at Living in Yellow.
Her posts seriously almost make me pee my pants I laugh so hard.
She is down to earth, optimistic, funny and insightful.
Check her out! (you know what I mean...) :)
xoxo.
